Graham Bosworth began his law career in 2005 at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, Graham handled a variety of criminal cases including trials, appeals, post conviction applications, and on federal habeas corpus petitions. He also prepared and presented briefs and oral argument in the civil employment discrimination suit, Decorte v. Jordan, 497 F.3d 433 (5th Cir. 2007), before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Graham has handled trials ranging from misdemeanor possession drug cases to murder. Graham also has extensive experience handling criminal appeals in Louisiana, and has prepared and presented numerous briefs and oral arguments before Louisiana Circuit Courts, as well as the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Graham also has handled multiple federal habeas corpus applications and has written numerous briefs and argued before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Graham was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a degree in History and Anthropology. After spending a year traveling in South America, he attended Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA, where he was named the Best Oral Advocate in his first year advocacy class. He was also the first Suffolk student to be offered the opportunity to enroll at Lund University’s Juridicum in Lund, Sweden, where he was named a Distinguished Student.
Graham is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts, as well as the Eastern District of Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of several professional associations and also serves on the Amicus Committee of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
